The No Borders Trio are performing an eclectic mixture of many musics, from Finland, via Scotland, Hungary, Austria, Brittany and Spain, finally reaching across the Atlantic as far as Argentina (as ever steeped in passion and regret). You will have heard of (and heard) Beethoven, but what about Melartin, Cras and Weiner?
This diversity is a reflection of the performers’ own differing nationalities. This girl-band was brought together while students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, which needs no borders either.
